The Haven's Links

Here are links to places I frequent/find useful in no particular order. Enjoy!

Zarla's Den of Intrigue

A page. Seeing it at random, for some reason, inspired me to make this place. Don't ask why... I don't know myself...

8-Bit Theater

8-Bit Theater. The antics of the way Final Fantasy I could have (and in some people's opinions, should have...) gone. One of the most amusing places on the web, in my opinion. A shame that Red Mage's column hasn't been updated in ages.

FFGlory

FFGlory. Like 8-Bit Theater, only... err... More like 16-Bit Theater! Not as well known, but still really great. I haven't been there in some time, though, so I have no idea if they still update and I'm not about to check now.

Starmen.net

The center for the entire EarthBound web community. An incredibly awsome place to go if you're a fan of anything EarthBound. Woo!

Final Fantasy Fighting

Final Fantasy Fighting. The homesite for the FFF Series. Although some of the stuff that's in there I think is a little inaccurate, it's still an interesting place to visit.

Excerion's Remains

A website operated by Skullrama and his friend Starfe devoted to the Lufia series. A very nice place to go, whether or not you're bored. Now if only it were updated more frequently... ... Or at all, now that I think about it...

The Returner's FFRPG Headquarters

The FFRPG Headquarters. The home of a project to convert the FF series into a D&D style game. Cool place. In case you have any interest, I'm the FFVI World Book Editor! ^_^ ... Which reminds me... I should probably get back to that, someday...

Yutz's Entitling Flukes

Yutz's Entitling Flukes. A funny little place of EarthBound fluke goodness. Kinda fun too, in its own little way... Although it no longer exists...

The 8-bit Comic

The 8-bit Comic. It's pretty funny, but, sadly, there aren't very many at all so far... And, actually, beyond those first few, there don't appear to be any at all.

Secret of Mana Theater

Secret of Mana Theater. Updated as frequently as a sprite-comic, but they're flash films. Doesn't nessessarily make them better, but they are very funny.

Critical Fumble

Critical Fumble. A web-comic made of sprites from... Well, I don't know where they're from, actually. But it's a funny comic. Especially to D&D fans.

RPG World

RPG World. A webcomic based upon RPGs that's not made from sprites? Yep. It's good, too.

So-Nic-Oh

So-Nic-Oh. A web-comic made by a friend of mine, Dark War Ness/Red Falcon Mech/Ein/Ness/EarthBounder Ness/Lord of Many Pseudonyms. It's pretty funny. It has nothing to do with Yu-Gi-Oh, so if you were expecting that, you will likely be dissappointed in that respect. But, anyway, go there. I don't know if it's been updated recently, though and I don't want to check.

The RPG boards!

Here are RPG boards that I like and go to a lot. Again, in no particular order.

Actually, you probably won't find any recent posts here, I'm afraid. They're all pretty much defunct, sadly. I've left all of the original descriptions as they are and probably won't be changing them. If they're still up, enjoy the memories.

Planet Namek

A DBZ RPG with a somewhat shaky history. Skullrama is the current guy in charge here. It's all good and fun so drop by and join in!

The -Name Pending- Project

Technically, it's not an RPG board, but we are (albeit slowly... ^_^o) working on an RPG for the RPM2K program and help is always desired (read: needed very, very badly).

Skullrama's Ranma Role Playing Boards

A fun little place for role playing in the universe of Ranma 1/2. Yay!

EB Minion's Role Playing Shrine

An awsome role playing shrine operated by a good friend of mine. He hasn't been able to update much lately due to computer problems, but all should be well, in due time. Such a great place...

CulixII's RPGs

My RPG boards! I like them and so have the few who have ventured there. Well, unless you count the dozen or so people who signed up then never came back ever again... ^_^o If you sign up, don't be like those people...

Unorganized at present!

With this big update, I don't feel like actually putting them in the right sections/creating new ones right now. Maybe at another big update or, perhaps, never. Also, there may be some repeats. I don't really care, right now. I'll fix 'em eventually. Anyway, here they are:

Kid Radd

Amusing sprite comic about a video game hero sprite who finds himself in the internet with many other video game sprites, not to mention caught up in the massive plot of one ticked off random encounter sprite...

Captain SNES

A sprite comic about a guy who gets pulled into the Super Nintendo version of Video Game World from the old Captain SNES cartoon (which, sadly, I was never able to watch before it went off the air) and now has to save it from a force that has even destiny itself on its side! ... Did I mention that he's been running around in his underpants for, like, over a year now?

Phylomotyis.com

A VERY nice collection of almost everything you'd need to make a good/decent RM2K game. It's also got some games for download, but it's quite selective (there are about 3 up), so you'd be better off checking Gaming World or Sky Tower Games if you're trying to find games that others have made. Still good, though.

EBminon.cc

Sure, it's got a typo in the address and, consequentally, the name, but it's operated by the amazing EBMinion, which is more than enough to make up for that. That which is on display is more or less as varied as my site, but it's the host site of that wonderful webcomic with the long name: Final Legend of the Fantasy Secret of the Breath of Stars of Magical Gaia.

Lance and Eskimo

It's got amusing stuff. That's all I shall say.

Fanfiction.net

Lots fanfics here on almost any topic. This includes, believe it or not, Pong.

New links as of 3/23/05

I've now decided to add links in this manner: I include a date with the links beyond it. It doesn't take a stroke of brilliance to work it out, but eh. I'm lazy.

... So lazy, in fact, that I'm not even including any new links right now. Check again later.
